Andrew Kingsley becomes Lead Nurse for Healthcare Acquired Infections and Tissue Viability

Andrew Kingsley has just taken up a new position in the new Devon CCG as Lead Nurse for Healthcare Acquired Infections and Tissue Viability. The CCG is the largest in the country, covering approximately one million population across the wide geographical area of north east and west devon. The role will be strategic in nature, in particular ensuring providers deliver on key targets of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteraemia, Clostridium difficile and pressure ulcers. He will provide expert advice to the CCG in the two specialties and look for opportunities to influence the design and provision of services to improve outcomes for patients.
